Hi friends! Brianna Lepper here with a fun wintery layout using Paige's Truly Grateful collection and Christmas Tree Border cut file. This collection is so versatile and is perfect to document all of those precious holiday memories! This year has definitely flown by and I'm so excited to begin all of the holiday traditions in our house.
First, I cut Paige's Christmas Tree Border cut file from white cardstock using a Silhouette Cameo 3. Once it was finished I started backing each tree and all of the stars with these papers: Paper 05, Paper 10, Paper 14, Paper 15, Paper 18, and the 12x12 Specialty Paper. To back the tree stumps, I simply painted gold watercolor from my stash onto a piece of leftover cardstock and backed each one. To finish off these cute trees, I pulled Paper 03 from Paige's Pick-Me-Up collection and fussy cut the bows out to top each tree.
I wanted to create a somewhat snowy and soft mixed media background so I grabbed another piece of white cardstock and prepped it with white gesso. I grabbed Paige's Polka Dot Stencil and applied white modeling paste through it. After adding blue, mint, pink, and gold Shimmerz spray from my stash, it was complete! I just love all of the texture!
To create my title, I pulled a few different pieces from the Epoxy Stickers, Thickers, and also pulled the Mini Thickers from Pick-Me-Up.
I also added small fussy cut florals from Paper 02 and Paper 15 onto a few trees. I wanted even more color on this page so I trimmed my white cardstock down on two sides, added gold stitching around the whole page, and stuck it down on another sheet of Paper 02. I absolutely LOVE this paper! Lastly, I sprinkled sequins from the Mixed Embellishments around my page to add even more sparkle and shine.
This layout was so much fun to create and I just love all of the texture and dimension. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you're enjoying the start of this beautiful holiday season!

Your layout is stunning Brianna! The papers you chose to design with are so pretty together. The gold painted paper used to fill the tree trunks is a nice idea, I will keep that in my scrappy idea box for sure! I bet your boys are so excited for Santa :D Enjoy all the festivities December brings xK
