Hi friends! Brianna Lepper here and I'm back with my first layout of the year for Paige + Silhouette using both her Truly Grateful and Horizon collections. Since the holidays have officially come to a close, I thought it would be fun to kick the year off with a rainbow layout. I chose Paige's Flower Background cut file as the main focus on my page.
I cut the cut file on a piece of white cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo and backed all of the flower petals using Paper 14 and 2x2 Paper Pads from Horizon and Paper 14 and 2x2 Paper Pads from Truly Grateful. The patterns on each paper were sized perfectly for the small petals on this cut file. Since I went in rainbow order, it took me a little longer to get my papers picked out and organized. I put a lot of thought into making sure the colors were blending from one flower to the next. I love the end result!
For the foundation paper of my layout, I used Paper 17 from Truly Grateful and I really wanted to make sure that the entire cut file popped off of the page and didn't get lost on top of that busy background. So I blended on some white acrylic paint and as soon as that dried I added a few Shimmerz sprays in rainbow order. I love adding mixed media to my layouts even if it's just a few simple splatters around the page.
This layout was so much fun to create! I love creating rainbow-themed layouts and this cut file was super simple to back with patterned papers. It's an easy shape so it went fairly quickly. I hope I've inspired you in some way today! Thank you so much for stopping by and we will see you in my next post! Hope your holidays were great!

For my title, I used a phrase from the Epoxy Stickers. When I started adding embellishments, I went with the tone-on-tone method and added bits and pieces here and there. I used the Floral Die Cuts, Mixed Embellishments, and even fussy cut some birdhouses out from Paper 11. To complete my page, I wanted to add a few more smaller elements so I pulled out the 30-page Paige Evans #StickerBook and grabbed some hearts, florals, and star stickers. I even added a cute subtitle towards the bottom using some alpha stickers from the Whimsical Sticker Book.
