Kind Love Sweet Layout

Here is another layout made with Bloom Street focusing on the Washi Tape and small embellishments!
I started by placing four strips of Washi Tape horizontally and four vertically (I just eyeballed it but if I were to re-create this I would measure with a ruler) onto the rainbow striped B-side of Paper 20. Then all I did was fill in all the little sections with bits and pieces from Bloom Street! I tried not to think too hard about it and just grabbed and went to town!

I dipped into the sequins and colored jewls from the Mixed EmbellishmentsPuffy Word StickersPuffy Vinyl StickersEphemera Die CutsCardstock Stickers, stickers from the 44-Page Sticker BookEnamel Dots, and Butterfly Stickers. All the things!

You might notice the design is a bit off-center so to balance it I heavily distressed and tore the left and bottom edges then replaced it with an "L" shaped piece of paper cut from the floral Paper 12. Now the page feels balanced and I also like the distressed element to offset the clean lines of the Washi Tape.

The photo of sweet Jane is larger than one of the sections so it covers a few of them. I journaled in one of the sections and that was it! Grid-based layouts are such a fun way to feature a bunch of different products from a collection.

I hope you are inspired to pick up my new Bloom Street collection! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon!

  1. That's a cute grid idea Paige and as always, very original ! I'm always looking for new ways to use washi. It's addicting (isn't it all :D ) and I have enough to tape everything from here to eternity, ha! 'All the things' are a delight !! <3
