Dino Love Layout by Shimelle

Hello and RAWR to you today, friends! It's Shimelle and today I'm scrapbooking with Bloom Street's pastel colors and some dinosaurs. What could be a better way to spend the day?
I've had the Geometric Dinosaur cut file bookmarked in my mind for a while, but someone recently asked which papers I would use specifically from Bloom Street to bring this dino to life, so it had to be done! And it appears the answer is all the greens and purples!

Starting with Paper 10 as my background, I used a yellow stripe, a purple dot, and a light green from the 2x2 Paper Pad to back just four shapes each to bring some color and detail to the dino. To keep the workload reasonable and make the dino shape bold and clear on the page, all the remaining gaps were backed with the same rich green shade. That one is from the 6x8 Paper Pad. My photos are a bit smaller than 4x6 and have white borders. I then added the pale purple b-side of Paper 02 and the green of Paper 12 behind the photos.

Then time to pile on plenty of little, layered embellishments. Most of these are from the Ephemera Die Cuts, plus a phrase from the 2x2 Paper Pad and some pieces from the Cardstock Stickers. My title and puffy finishing touches are from older Paige collections, including the Truly Grateful Puffy Phrase StickersPuffy Stickers, and Thickers from the Oh My Heart collection. Top all that with a bit of Bloom Street Washi Tape and three gems from the Mixed Embellishments.

If you'd like to see how all the pastel dinosaur designing came together, you can see the whole page from start-to-finish:

Thanks so much for braving this fearsome T-Rex and I wish you much pastel fun in your own creating this week!
