Hey hey there friends! It's Shimelle and today I'm scrapbooking two photos from a drawing class I took with my son on our travels. Paige's Makers Gonna Make cut file and Bloom Street were the perfect way to tell my story about how we had plenty to see and do that day, but we both agreed really we wanted to take the drawing class over and over all day long!
I started with Paper 10 as my background and cut the Makers Gonna Make cut file from white cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo. I pulled different green patterns from the 12x12 Paper Pad and 6x8 Paper Pad, along with a few other designs, because the character we drew in class was Tick Tock, the crocodile from Peter Pan. Our drawings were in pencil though so there was no green in the photos. Adding it to the page through the papers and embellishments helped me fill in the memories that are not shown in the photo. I backed the central word all with one paper and the top and bottom words with different papers for each letter.
The lettering takes up the bottom section of the page and my 3x4 photos with white mats fit perfectly at the top right. I added a rolodex-styled card from the Ephemera Die Cuts for my journaling and used two phrase tiles from the Truly Grateful 2x2 Paper Pads - one with green to use as a tab at the far right of the page and one that reads 'magic and wonder' to sit at the top left.
Some pop dots and the Floral Die Cuts made it easy to add three areas of embellishment to the page, along with the beautifully pearlescent stickers from the 4-Page Sticker Book, Puffy Stickers from Truly Grateful, and a few simple doodled stars and dots to finish.
Thanks so much for taking a look at what I've been making. Now what are all of you makers gonna make? I can't wait to find out!
