Hi crafty friends, Anita Bownds here sharing another cute layout using Bloom Street of my daughter Eve riding a scooter. They grow up so fast! Eve will be 16 this year! Sometimes I wish they were small again... Now it’s all about makeup and hair :) I wanted to have a bright and fun floral layout with fussy cut flowers.
I started with Paper 14 as I really love the bright yellow and wanted it to be a border for my white cardstock. Using my Silhouette Cameo 3, Paper 07, and Paige's Heart Sunburst cut file, I cut it to fit nicely in the middle. I then machine stitched on each ray to add extra texture then adhered it down with double sided foam tape to give it extra dimension.
Next I matted my photo on Paper 14 and paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad then tucked Ephemera Die Cuts in the photo layers. I made a little tag from the 2x2 Paper Pads to slip in the top of my photo. Using the Cardstock Stickers I added a title just below my photo leaving enough space to add all my fussy cut flowers from the 12x12 Paper Pad.
I then added some Washi Tape to the top and bottom of the white cardstock to add an extra pop of color and a bright sun from the Ephemera Die Cuts and decided to add the sun from the Cardstock Stickers over the top. I then added Enamel Dots to the center of the flowers and a few scattered punched hearts from the 12x12 Paper Pad and a few butterfly stickers from the 4-Page Sticker Book and Cardstock Stickers. I finished off by adding some glitter glue around the fussy cut flowers.
I hope you enjoyed my Bloom Street layout. Happy crafting!

ReplyDeleteI really love that you've make the sun rays from the pretty pink paper with daisies and bees. It's sooo girly and sweet. The stitching was the perfect addition to it too. I love everything you make xoK
