Hello! My name is Krystal Becker and I'm so excited to be Paige's cut file guest designer for September! You can find me on instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest.

I fell in love with the Layered Plaid cut file as soon as I saw it and I knew it would look beautiful cut from the papers of the Truly Grateful collection. I cut it at approximately 6x6" and set it on the diagonal in the center of my page. Then I added two large clusters of florals, including several of the Layered Flowers cut files and the Truly Grateful Floral Die Cuts, on two sides of the plaid square and layered my photo over the top of the other side.
I placed the heart circle wood veneer from the Truly Grateful Mixed Embellishments in the center of my plaid diamond and added my title just below it. I finished the layout by sprinkling sequins all around the embellishment clusters and added a few to the center of the die cut flowers. I love how this one turned out!

I knew the Geometric Fox cut file would be perfect for documenting a picture of my dog, Foxie. Since she's a Red Heeler, I decided to stick with tones of orange and yellow with a few pinks thrown in for fun. I backed the cut file using papers from WhimsicalHorizon, and Truly Grateful in an orange to yellow ombre pattern. Once I set it on the layout, I realized it needed a little something more to make it stand out, so I decided to stitch around the cut file using matching embroidery thread.
Then I created three clusters of flowers using the Layered Flower and Leaf cut files. To add some finishing touches, I used the stitch marks from the Whimsical rub-ons and a few wood and enamel hearts from the Truly Grateful Mixed Embellishments. I love the end product, and I think it's a perfect way to document my sweet girl!

After assembling the Layered Flower and Leaf cut files, I knew they would look absolutely gorgeous on a card! So I used the "grateful" puffy sticker from the Truly Grateful collection as my sentiment, then surrounded it with two of the assembled flowers leftover from my second project.
To finish the sentiment, I stamped "for you" in two ink colors in an attempt to mimic the color combination in the puffy sticker. I matted the card base on a wide border of the b-side of Paper 16 from the Horizon collection. I thought the dark blue would contrast nicely with the orange sentiment and help it stand out. Then I added both panels to a white cardstock base. A perfect card for sharing with someone meaningful in your life!

My first dog, Jasper, was a Healer/Lab. Such a good smart boy. I love how you filled and stitched the Foxie cut file. Everything is totally wonderful !! Bravo 😍❤️
