Popcorn Layout by Migbell Guzman

Saturday, September 5, 2020

Hi everyone! Migbell Guzman again here on Paige's blog to share with you another layout that I have created using various cut files and the beautiful Bloom Street collection. Watching movies is one of my little niece's favorite entertainments and she is my inspiration for this page.
To get started I chose three cut files to use in my layout: Popcorn, Lollipop, and Sparkles Background, then I cut them on my Silhouette Cameo. I chose two pieces of white cardstock for the background, one for the base and from the other I cut the Sparkles Background to add texture. I used Paper 24 to highlight the stars with different colors and I also decorated the lollipops with the same paper. I love the bright colors in this collection!

How delicious it is to enjoy hot popcorn with a lot of butter, right?! For the Popcorn cut file, I used Paper 18 for both sides. I cut out an additional Popcorn and used Paper 14 to decorate, layering them with double-sided foam adhesive shapes of different sizes to give the 3D effect. I combined Paper 07Paper 24, and the 2x2 Paper Pads to decorate the word "popcorn" and Paper 02 for the oval background. I included string, embellishments, ephemera, and Thickers to add the finishing touches to my page.

Create and have fun with Paige's cut files and beautiful collections. Memories are pictures taken by the heart. Until next time, blessings!

  1. Super fun and pretty too! I really love the background a lot! Those little circles are create just the right amount of shadow and texture. The paper backing the popcorn kernels is absolutely perfect. I love it!! 😍 ❤️
