Bags Mini Album by Stefanie Ried

Hi friends, Stefanie Ried here sharing a new mini album created with Go the Scenic Route!

Do you collect tickets, notes, and bills from your vacations? Up to now mine were are all collected in a box. Some of them are already in mini albums, but most of them haven't found their right place yet.  Therefore it was on my to-do list for a long time that I would make a suitable album with pockets where I can keep them nicely sorted. While sorting out the vacations, memories came up again. A little vacation feeling on the scrap table is not bad, is it?

First I created 10 bags in rainbow colors. I wanted to use as much patterned paper as possible. On the photo you can see the dimensions of the bags.

I chose embellishments to match the bags such as Chipboard Stickers and Cardstock Stickers. I used different travel motifs from Go the Scenic Route. But Floral Die Cuts were also not to be missing :)

For the binding I made an accordion fold from white cardstock and glued the bags to it so you can open the pockets in the album easily and still have enough space.

For the spine I used the Acrylic Stamps and with embossing powder I stamped onto vellum. Later I glued it between the two book covers.

Here are some more detail pictures:

I hope you like my idea for storing your travel documents, tickets, ephemera, and more! Thanks for looking!
