Hi friends, Stefanie Ried here! Did you see the beautiful Paper 18 with the flowers in Paige's Go the Scenic Route collection? Floral papers are always a highlight in every collection. Once again I fell in love with them right away. That's why my current layout is under the title "Sea of Flowers". The idea behind it was that the whole layout would be covered with flowers, and to make sure it's not overwhelming I put colored flowers only in the middle. This way it looks light despite the many flowers.
First I fussy cut some flowers from Paper 18. For the white flowers I used a layered flower punch set from WeR Memory Keepers. With this set you can create flowers very fast and easy.
On a white cardstock background I applied Pastel Dreams watercolors with the packaging technique.
Time to build the layout! I started with the flowers in the middle and I glued them with 3D adhesive dots. Since I was still missing something between the flowers, I die cut out filigree branches of leaves. I used two dies from my stash with a Big Shot.
So that the photos fit harmoniously into the photo, I cut them out in flower shape. For this purpose I cut two flowers out of Paper 2 and used them as a template for the photos. Then I cut a little bit at the edge and bent the flowers at the edge slightly upwards with a brush. To give it more dimension, I have glued the flowers in different heights.
Thanks for stopping by and see you next time!
