Hey there! I'm here today to share with you my second layout that appeared in the Fall 2020 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine which you can download and browse for free! It features my Leaf Background cut file and Go the Scenic Route collection along with a mini leaf punch.
To start, I had my Silhouette Cameo cut out the Leaf Background cut file from white cardstock. While it was cutting I punched an entire sheet of the colorful patchwork B-side of Paper 21 with a mini leaf punch. Then I folded and creased the tiny leaves to give them more texture and dimension.
I lightly adhered the leaf background onto a light yellow cardstock background and machine stitched around the border to attach it in place permanently. The cut file has little leaves all across it and I simply covered them up with the punched paper leaves - adding them in a random rainbow order to create an overall super colorful page.
Next I added a photo off-center and placed a yellow "amazing" Puffy Word Sticker at the top in the white space. I tucked a yellow "where to next" perforated sentiment from the Ephemera Die Cuts under the top edge of the photo and placed a globe Chipboard Sticker overlapping the right edge. A few lines of journaling with a blue pen below the photo finishes up this layout!
I hope this layout inspires you to grab my Leaf Background cut file and Go the Scenic Route collection to create this page as well as download the Fall 2020 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine for tons of inspiration! Thanks for stopping by!
