Handcut Frames Layout by Stefanie Ried

Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Hi friends, Stefanie Ried here sharing a new layout made with Go the Scenic Route! I have had this idea in my head for awhile. But sometimes the papers do not fit or you do not have the right photos. But in this case I constantly put off the idea and almost forgot it again. But when I found my sketches last week while cleaning up, I knew right away that I finally wanted to create this idea!

First I chose suitable papers. I like this color combination best in this collection.

First I wanted to sketch the frames with pencil on the papers. But then I just started cutting out the frames with scissors without this. And it went super easy. To be honest, I just cut out by feeling and then arranged the paper frames on top of each other by turning them.

I glued the frames with 3D glue dots that way they don't lie flat on top of each other. Otherwise the effect would not work properly. I decorated the frames only minimally so that you can still see the lines.

The icons and stickers are based on my Girls Craft Day theme. There are sooo many in this beautiful collection. Until next time!
