Hi everyone! Migbell Guzmán back again and happy to share my new design with you. I want to show you how I used this beautiful Go the Scenic Route collection by Paige Evans. I found among my files the right photo for my design, my older niece enjoying the beautiful beaches in my country Puerto Rico, where every day is summer.
I selected Paper 12 for the background. I loved Paper 6 for the colors and it contains what I needed to make my new design. As you may have noticed, Paper 6 has many designs to cut, can you imagine how fun it was cutting out all the elements from the paper!
To arrange all the items in a circular fashion, I chose a non-patterned cardstock and made a 9" diameter circle and cut it with a Silhouette Cameo to use as a guide. I placed the elements as if they reflected the colors of the rainbow and to create dimension I used double-sided foam adhesive.
To contrast with the colors, I used a black & white photo, also round at 4 3/4" across. I sewed around it with embroidery thread of various colors, following the same color transition as the icons. I added Cardstock Stickers, Puffy Phrase Stickers, and some Floral Die Cuts to finish my design.
