Hi friends, Maija Männistö here to share a layout made with Go the Scenic Route and the cut file for today from Paige's 25 Days of Christmas Cut Files!
Today’s cut file from the 25 Days of Christmas Cut Files is a Dear Santa Letter, a super cute and detailed Christmas floral envelope. I love the floral pieces so I wanted to have them as the focal point of the whole page. I decided to make them really pop by painting it with watercolors. I chose bright and happy colors, not just traditional Christmas colors.
For the background, I added watercolor splashes to make it a bit more vibrant but still simple. For that extra something I used golden watercolor for the words and some of the spirals. For the envelope part I used Paper 24 to back it. With the embellishments I went with just a few and stuck to the same heart theme with each. They are from the Chipboard Stickers, Enamel Dots, and Puffy Phrase Stickers. And I couldn’t forget my favorite embellishment, a little pennant made with a paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad.
