2021 Goals Layout by Brianna Lepper

Sunday, January 10, 2021

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and I hope you all had a great holiday season! We sure did and to my disappointment, it went by way too fast! I guess it is true, time flies when you’re having fun! In celebration of a brand new year, I thought I would create a layout with some fun things that I’d like to do in 2021. They aren’t anything too big, just a few goals I’d like to accomplish. Paige’s 2021 Goals cut file was perfect for this idea. And so was Paper 6 from her Go the Scenic Route collection. Here’s what I came up with:

To start, I cut the 2021 Goals cut file out of white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo. I chose to back it with the B-side of Paper 6 for the ‘2021’ portion and I used Paper 21 for all of the stars. I wanted it super colorful! For the ‘goals’ part of the cut file, I used the 2x2 Paper Pads. I thought that the smaller patterns would look the best since the letters were a bit smaller.

For the base of my layout, I used Paper 22. I liked the ledger paper look since it had that stationery vibe and went with my goals theme. I splattered white acrylic paint all over the page and while that was drying, I popped up the entire backed cut file on foam and adhered it down. Next, I fussy cut a lot of the icons from Paper 6. I love this paper so much and I’ve been itching to fussy cut them all out. They went perfectly for my goals for this year. I adhered them all around my page creating little sections for each goal. Here are a few of my goals: Create, Stay Safe, Travel Home (this is a pretty loose goal.. once it’s safe to travel, we will go back home to visit our family). I also added More Selfies (mainly to add myself into more photos) and to Relax, which is basically like self care.

Here’s a close up of the "travel" section. Aren’t those little tickets and map perfect?

Here’s my "create more" section. The watercolor palette and journals with the pen are so cute!!! They were the perfect size to layer up on top of the stars in the cut file. I used the alphas from the 30-page Paige Evans #StickerBook to label each section. The colors matched perfectly!

I just had to fussy cut this cute pink and white striped backpack. I seriously need one of these in real life! Check out the adorable hand sanitizer and hand lotion!

In this section here, I added a polaroid camera and layered my little title right on top. For the "relax" section, I added a sleep mask, a water bottle (because, hydration) and a granola bar. You always have to enjoy a little snack during the day! I mean, this Paper 6 was seriously perfect for this layout. Have you had a chance to use this paper yet? I hope this inspires you!

For my photo, I happened to have this small photo printed out so I layered up some of the 2x2 Paper Pad scraps and added one of the Puffy Phrase Stickers underneath. I also added in that #momlife tab sticker that was also from the 30-page Paige Evans #StickerBook. Lastly, I added an Enamel Dot sticker, a butterfly from the Ephemera Die Cuts, and some of the small circle puffy stickers from the Puffy Phrase Stickers around the page.

I really had a great time creating this layout. I know I say that about a lot of my pages, but I don’t really create pages about myself, so this was different and I really enjoyed the process. Not to mention how fun it was to layer up all of those cute tiny icons. Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have you planned out any goals or resolutions for the new year? If so, what are they? I’d love to know! Comment down below! Cheers to a happy and safe 2021 my friends! See you in my next post!

  1. You are the most fun and cute. Reading your post is like sitting down for a coffee together and hearing all about it, your personality shines through. I mean, seriously, you're way cute (that's me doing you, snicker). So many cute ideas to convey your goals this year, it's going to be great, I can feel it 🥰
