Snow Cute Layout by Maija Männistö

     Hi friends, Maija Männistö here to share a layout filled with winter and Go the Scenic Route! I created this snow filled layout with two cut files - Snowflakes and Snow Cute.

I created the background using the Snowflakes cut file, cutting it from cardstock and using it as a stencil. I colored white modeling paste blue with acrylic paint and used it to create the background. The white cardstock background needed extra color so I used one of the papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad to create the borders around the page. For the title I chose the Snow Cute cut file. I backed the letters with the various blue squares on Paper 10. I didn’t want to cover the whole snowflake with patterned paper, so that the background would show through it. For parts I covered I used the other side of Paper 10, the various shades of blue on that paper brought so much vibrancy on the layout!

I focused most of my embellishments around the photo. I backed the photo again with Paper 10 and cut out some of the mandalas from the paper. I also used a few stickers from the Cardstock Stickers. For the final touch I added a Flag Paperclip on the photo.

I added another small cluster of embellishments onto the title. I cut the ‘happiness’ pennant from the 2x2 Paper Pads and added some Enamel Dots.
