Here is my third and final layout that appeared in the Winter 2020 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine which features my Go the Scenic Route collection!
Since this magazine issue also includes Valentine's Day, I wanted to use all things hearts and flowers! I grabbed the red hearts B-side of Paper 1 to use as my background and then lightly traced a large heart onto the middle.
With a brand new package of Floral Die Cuts, I placed the largest ones first around the heart, followed by the medium ones, then the smallest flowers on top last. Once I liked the placement of all the flowers, I took a picture with my phone to refer back to in case they got shifted around and adhered them in place one-by-one with foam squares for dimension. I also bent up the petals and leaves for more texture and interest.
In the center of the floral heart I added a photo of me! Hi there! I created the title on the right side with a mix of Puffy Phrase Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Mini Foam Thickers to say "I LOVE SCRAPBOOKING". I wrote journaling on a label in that cluster. I scattered colored dots from the Puffy Phrase Stickers all around the floral heart for little bits of eye candy. To finish, I trimmed three patterned paper strips to layer on the top edge and a fourth to go on the bottom edge, which are the tearaway barcode strips found at the tops of the patterned papers.
