Memory Explosion Box Party

A month ago I had some local crafty pals over to create Memory Explosion Boxes!
We all got negative covid tests the day before so we were safe to be in each other's presence :)
My friend Karen's daughter calls it a "BAM BOX" or a "BOOM BOX" which is just too cute!

We began by selecting a size and style of Memory Explosion Box to decorate: Andrea and Mary chose the Large White Memory Explosion Box, Karen chose the Small White Memory Explosion BoxRosie chose the Small Kraft Memory Explosion Box, and I chose the Large Kraft Memory Explosion Box.

Then we covered each and every side, flap, pocket, and all the various lids with patterned papers from the 12x12" Paper PadSprinkle 12x12" Paper Pad6x6" Paper PadDouble Sided 6x6" Paper PadFoil 6x6" Paper Pad, and Glitter 6x6" Paper Pad. A few people also brought some papers from home to incorporate which looked awesome.

Once we all had everything covered, it was time for lunch! We ordered Cafe Rio - soooooo good. Crumbl cookies for dessert! Back to the craft room - time to add photos and embellishments.
We all loved looking at each other's progress and getting inspiration and bouncing off ideas. Not to mention, the conversations! Oh my goodness it was soooo good for the soul to have some girl time!
At about 4pm we cleaned up and then we raided my basement for free craft supplies :)
Ta-da!! Look how cute! Mine is the undecorated lid lol. Mary is giving her box to her mom, Karen documented a fun trip to Lake Tahoe, and Andrea gave hers to her daughter for her birthday. Not shown is Rosie's who is giving hers to her friend and it's filled with inspirational quotes.
BAM! Memory Explosion Boxes galore!
We had a total "blast" making boxes using my Memory Explosion Box supplies found in stores and online exclusively at Michaels!
Here are the clickable product links to all of the Memory Explosion Box supplies:

Have you made a Memory Explosion Box yet? Be sure to send me photos so I can share them in an upcoming blog post!

  1. Love all your boxes. I made one already and just purchased more supplies to make two more.

  2. All the boxes look awesome. I went to Michael's tonight and bought 2 large and 1 small box with a ton of the supplies. I plan on making a birthday box for my daughter's birthday that was today and a baby shower box for my step-daughter. I plan to make a family box with the small one to practice. I can't wait to practice
