Awesome Pocket Page by Amy Jo Vanden Brink

Hello! Amy Jo Vanden Brink here and I'm delighted to be back on the blog today sharing a fun project with the new Wonders collection. It has been SO fun to get this collection into my books and it's absolutely delightful, I'm sure you will love it. I have a little guy who loves blue & orange and when I found his school photo I knew I had the winning combination!

I cut the Awesome cut file out of the orange/gold dot paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. Then I took out the inner lines and cut it again out of the blue grid paper for the backing. It was so easy to find embellishments that went right along with the color scheme, that for a moment I had too many orange and blue pieces pulled out on my desk! I love the wide range of this collection, even though it's not a school based collection, there were plenty of pieces and sentiments that fit right in! I added a phrase sticker from the 6x12 Cardstock Stickers and a few smaller pieces along with my absolute favourite piece with the Lolly! The orange 3x4 card is from Paper 12, I just cut the tag part off the top. I did add some personal journaling to the label sticker, forgive me for keeping it private!

I hope that this little peek at the Wonders collection has inspired you today and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have!

  1. great layout! what size album and page protectors did you use? I like the simple style of the smaller album.
