Hi scrappy friends! Ashley Neu back with a fun layout for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team! For today’s layout, I used Paige’s Sunburst Background cut file and her Go the Scenic Route collection. I documented this fun photo of my daughters’ first day at dance class together.
To start off the layout, I cut the Sunburst Background cut file from Paper 3 that has beautiful mini butterflies all over it. After tracing the inner circle of the cut file onto white cardstock, I added watercolors to help the circle stand out.
I added foam adhesive strips to the back of the cut file and layered it onto the white cardstock. I fussy cut the beautiful, multi-colored butterflies from Paper 20 and added them around the circle making sure to lift up their wings to give lots of dimension. I love the way they help draw your attention to the circle of the sunburst.
Finally, I added the title from the Chipboard Stickers and some Cardstock Stickers. I also used the tone-on-tone technique by adding some of the cute, little puffy dots from the Puffy Phrase Stickers onto the watercoloring.
