Hello everyone! Marinette M'Boussi here! Today I’m sharing my new layout for Paige’s Cut File Design Team. This time I used the beautiful Wonders collection which is full of colors. I paired the collection with the Geometric Hexagons cut file to show plenty of patterned papers.
I started with a mixed media background. First I used gesso and modeling paste with Paige’s Tiles Stencil. Then I added a bunch of colors with Distress Oxides. After that, I cut the Geometric Hexagons cut file on white cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo and backed it with pieces of Paper 20. This paper is perfect if you want to have a peek at the whole collection because it has plenty of different patterns.
Then I chose a colorful picture of my trip to Disney World and backed it with a green and gold foiled paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I used a “wonderful” Banner Sticker as my title and embellished the rest with flowers, birds, and insects from the 8-Page Sticker Book, Cardstock Stickers, and Floral Die Cuts. As a final touch, I used two small pieces of Paper 20 to complete my background and placed them on the sides of the cardstock then embellished them with machine stitching.
