Camper Album Cover by Amy Jo Vanden Brink

Hello everyone! Amy Jo Vanden Brink here and I'm delighted to be back today with a project that I've had on my to-do list for awhile now. I love adding Heat Transfer Vinyl to fabric covered albums and I wanted an album for our summer adventures this year as we have a lot of camping booked. I used Paige's Camping cut file cut out on white HTV to make this album.

After I used my weeding tool to take out all the parts I didn't want on the cover, I carefully ironed (quick tip, parchment paper from the kitchen is great to use if you want to protect the fabric of your album. I'm still very careful, but with the parchment paper I don't worry as much!) the design onto the front of the album.

I often buy "nearly perfect" albums for when I do this, as the design usually ends up taking center stage to any slight imperfections in the album. It's a great way to personalize your albums and make them fun!

I printed off some photos from our first trip out this year and started putting them in the pockets. I also grabbed some of the Epoxy Phrase Stickers from Wonders - I love to have a good title page for my albums and the "adventures" sentiment worked perfectly!

I hope this project has inspired you to try something like this, it is so fun and creates such a unique personalized item which I always love when crafting!
