Hi friends! Neftali Zambrano here with you today. I am excited to be bringing you another 12x12 layout using Wonders and Paige's Artist cut file. For this project I took the time to back the cut file and I added lots of fun color with watercolors.
I started off by backing the Artist cut file. I loved it because it had all of the brushes and colored pencils. It reminded me of my crafty space, so I decided I knew exactly how to use it. I cut it out on white cardstock and took my time using an arrangement of the Wonders paper to back each little bit. It was very relaxing to take the time to make the cut file come to life. Once the cut file was all backed up I added watercolors to the base of my page. I did some basic watercoloring with matching splatters above each color. I love the artistic look this gives my page. It’s the perfect backing for all of my embellishments.
I used a photograph that I took on iNSD this year. It was the perfect photo of myself in my crafty space to go with the cut file. I added embellishments using the Whimsical collection that I had left in my stash. For my title I used a Whimsical die cut piece that said “artistic” and I added a little label that had the word “everything” on it. This helped create my title "Everything Artistic".
I love all of the colors in this layout. The cut file is what really helped it all come together so nicely! I hope that you have enjoyed this project as much as I have. I want to challenge you to create a project with a backed cut file. With some patience and a little TLC you can create a fun and creative pages using a beautiful cut file like this one!
