Hi friends! Neftali Zambrano back today to share another 12x12 layout with you all. I am bringing you a layout full of fussy cut bits, so many awesome details, and 10 photos! Yes, a whopping 10 photos. Most importantly, I was able to create this layout using only the papers from the Wonders collection. Read on to learn how I made this layout:
As you can see this layout is filled with so many florals, layers, and butterflies. I just love all of the colors and flowers. I think this is a truly Paige Evans style layout. What do you think? To start off, I decided to create a layout using Paige’s Numbers Cascading cut file. This gave me the idea to use the cut file along with 10 of my favorite photos. I started by backing the file in a colorful out-of-order ROYGBIV arrangement from the papers from Wonders. For my photos to be printed in a circle format, I used a photo grid app on my iPad to create a circle grid of photos in an 8 1/2x11 photo paper size. I printed it right at home using my photo printer. I used the same colored papers from the cut file to back the round photographs and for that I used a 2" punch to punch the perfect circles.
Next, I fussy cut lots of floral clusters from Paper 16 and matching butterflies to the cut file from Paper 8. I used these fussy cut pieces to create the floral clusters around my page. I also fussy cut enough of the scallops from Paper 6 to place on each side of the center column. For that center column I stitched a 4 ½ inch strip of the Wonders Floral Transparency to the center of the page. Once all my pieces were cut the layout came together quite easy. I added the backed cut file in the center of my page above the center column and began to add the scallops, the floral clusters, the backed circle photos next to each number, and a matching butterfly by each of the numbers. I added a title to the center of my page using the Banner Stickers with the word “wonderful” and a sticker with the word “memories'' from the Cardstock Stickers. A few splatters and stitching around the entire edge of the page helped me finish off this colorful & busy page. This layout is full of colors, layers (so many layers!), and full of awesome details!
I have really enjoyed sharing this layout with you that focuses on using just your cardstock to create a full page. I want to invite you to challenge yourself to use your cardstock papers to create a full layout. Paige’s Wonders collection has a lot of wonderful paper selections that allow you to fussy cut and bring to life in many different ways on your page.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I hope you are feeling inspired to create something beautiful. If you do, we would love for you to come share your creativity on Paige’s Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group. Stop by there for loads of inspiration! See you next time and have a wonderful crafty day!
