Here is one of my layouts that appeared in the Fall 2021 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine which you can download for free HERE! My theme was to use stencils in a unique way, using Bungalow Lane, with a fall theme :)
To begin I grabbed my Flower Garden Stencil and white modeling paste which I scraped through the stencil onto textured white cardstock. I repeated that process 4 times to fill the entire background.
Once the paste dried I applied Pastel Dreams watercolors on top in warm colors. Then once the watercolors dried I ran the whole page through my Silhouette Cameo to have it cut out dozens of leaves. I didn't end up using all of the leaves on the layout - I have extras for a future project!
For the background I chose the pink grid B-side of Paper 16 and splashed watered down gold paint as well as watered down white acrylic paint across it. Then I die cut a couple of branches from the brown B-side of Paper 14 and adhered them with foam squares on opposite sides of the page. I attached the leaves to the branches and left a space for a photo.
I framed the photo with a foiled Chipboard Sticker cut in half and embellished with stickers from the Cardstock Stickers, 8-Page Sticker Book, and Foam Stickers. I added a label sticker from the 8-Page Sticker Book to the bottom left corner for journaling and finished embellishing with Foam Stickers and a butterfly from the 8-Page Sticker Book.
I hope this layout inspires you to pick up my Bungalow Lane collection, Flower Garden Stencil, and more and that you enjoy browsing through the Fall 2021 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine! See you again soon!
