The 20th of the 25 Days of Christmas Cut Files went out to those who purchased them! Here I have backed the Tree Lot Cut File with a whole bunch of colorful papers from my Christmas stash to go into my December Daily.
Check out these two layouts made with today's Tree Lot Cut File by Design Team members Audrey Mutschall & Heidi K. Lewis.Audrey says, "For this layout I used white textured cardstock for the cut file and backed it with papers from the Together for Christmas digital collection by Pink Paislee. This collection has a patterned paper with little ornaments that were perfect for placing behind the ornaments and lights in this cut file! I made a cluster of fussy cut flowers and greenery at the top of the page and layered in some poinsettias from Paige's Poinsettia Background Cut File. I used a subtle white brick paper for the background and I wanted the tree lot cut file to stand out against it so I layered it onto a striped piece of paper from the same collection. I added one of Paige's Scalloped Borders on the top and bottom of this paper to make it look a little bit more 'fancy'! Our family photo is mounted on two layers of patterned paper and I added another little cluster of greenery to tie it all together!"
Heidi says, "This layout is inspired by the song 'Over the River and Through the Woods.' Who knew this song is actually about Thanksgiving lol?! Page elements from the song include woods made of felt trees, a felt river, Grandma’s house, a horse, and a snowy white background. I just love the texture the felt adds to the layout and the coziness of the Bungalow Lane embellishments!"
