This mini album features flip-ups, double-sided pages, a pocket, bright patterns, and machine stitching. All of the stitching is optional, but I do love adding machine stitching to my personal projects so I am excited to show you how I create the entire thing!
A PDF with a list of supplies, photo sizes, instructions, templates, and the link to the YouTube video will be emailed within 24 hours of purchasing. Here are pictures of all the spreads in this Angled Accordion Mini Album. Let me know if you have any questions about anything!
Me & My Happy Creative Soul Layout by Kelly Daye
Saturday, January 29, 2022
Hi everyone! Kelly Daye here with a new layout featuring Paige's Cut Files. Do you ever get the urge to just sit and stitch? I was inspired by a stunning Memorydex Card that Paige shared last week and went stitch crazy on this layout using Paige's Floral Ampersand Cut File and Bungalow Lane.
I loved picking out the perfect backing paper for each petal and leaf then stitched with DMC floss to add even more beautiful texture and color. The finished title is "Me & My Happy Creative Soul" and I've used photos from my craft room. Paige's Floral Ampersand Cut File is awesome to use as part of your title! Pop by my blog today for some others I thought of using other ephemera from the collection.

Hi friends! Heidi K. Lewis here today sharing a layout made with Paige’s Vintage Bicycle Cut File.
One of the things that I love about Paige’s Cut Files is she has a cut file for nearly every occasion! This Vintage Bicycle was perfect for documenting our new bicycles. I used starry and floral motifs and to give the layout a dream-like quality.

Bungalow Lane Acetate Mini Album by Amber Mitchell
Wednesday, January 26, 2022
Hello crafty friends! Amber Mitchell here on Paige's blog today to share with you this mini album that I created using a sheet of Floral Transparency and the Bungalow Lane collection.
To create the base of this mini album, I used a sheet of the Floral Transparency and trimmed it to measure 6 x 12 inches. I scored this sheet on the 12-inch side at 5 and 7 inches, creating a 2-inch spine. To create the pages of this book, I made 7 sheets of patterned paper that measure 5 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches. I scored all of these sheets on the 9 3/4-inch side at 4 3/4 and 5 inches. This gives each page a quarter-inch gusset.
To adhere the pages to the spine of my album, I used double-sided tape. I applied it along the gusset of each page and carefully added them, one by one, to the spine. Once all of the pages were attached, I matted the outside of the spine with a sheet of paper that measured 1 3/4 by 5 3/4 inch. This is a quick way to hide any imperfections that could show through the clear acetate.
To embellish the cover, I layered a strip of pink patterned paper and some flowers from the Floral Die Cuts pack. For even more fun, I used some of Paige's Rolled Flower Cut Files to dress up the spine. To create a title, I added a "Simple Things" sentiment from the Foam Phrase Stickers.
To create journaling spots throughout the album, I used tags, 3 x 4 cards, and 4 x 6 cards from the 12x12 Paper Pad. I added these randomly throughout the album using mini paper clips.
When it came to embellishing the rest of the album, I used a mix of products from Bungalow Lane including the 8-Page Sticker Book, Chipboard Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, and Layered Stickers.
This album was so much fun to make! I love how the gold accents in the Floral Transparency catch the light and how the acetate allows for a sneak peek of the album pages.
Thanks so much for stopping by my post today! I'll see you next time with another fun project!

Home Sweet Home Layout by Audrey Mutschall
Tuesday, January 25, 2022
Hi everyone! Audrey Mutschall here with a new Design Team layout featuring Paige's Cut Files. For this layout I used the Home Sweet Home Cut File and paired it with paper and embellishments from Bungalow Lane.
I backed the Home Sweet Home Cut File with patterned papers from Bungalow Lane and replaced the "O's" with doilies that I mounted my circular photos onto. I splattered paint onto Paper 10 and placed it behind the cut file. I love how the dark color provides contrast and brings out the vibrant colors of the patterned papers. I used a strip of the scalloped Washi Tape on the top and bottom of my navy background and placed it onto Paper 12 which I stitched with variegated embroidery floss (DMC 4508). Lastly, I added a few flower Layered Stickers and a Foam Phrase Stickers as my embellishments.
We've spent so much time at home over the past two years and Paige's home-themed cut files and the Bungalow Lane collection is perfect for layouts about family and life at home!

Sunshine & Happiness Layout by Missy Whidden
Sunday, January 23, 2022
Hey friends! Missy Whidden here with a new Bungalow Lane layout! I wanted to create a fun background using Paige’s Rainbows Background Cut File. I cut it from Paper 4 using my Silhouette Cameo. This paper is so fun and has so many colors so I based my color scheme around it. I used thick white cardstock for the base and I coated it with clear gesso first. I wanted to add lots of yellow to the background so I used a few golden yellow Shimmerz sprays to start. I also added in a bit of a coral color, some blue, and a touch of gold. I glued down the cut file once the mixed media was dry and began sorting through all of the embellishments.
I printed my photos in black & white and I backed them with white tissue paper, adhesive foam, and a blue tag that I cut from Paper 22. I love how the photos pop off the page because of the background colors. I wanted to add in smaller flowers around the layout, so I fussy cut a few from Paper 14.
I embellished around the photos using some of the large Floral Die Cuts, Ephemera Die Cuts, Epoxy Stickers, and Chipboard Stickers. I chose items that matched the paper which helped me narrow down what I was going to use. I decided that the bottom area of the layout needed more light blue, so I created a fun little banner using the other side of Paper 4. I punched 1” circles, cut them in half, and then glued them to some twine. This is really easy to do and it’s so fun to create a customized banner. I also tucked light blue thread in under the photos.
I created a cascade effect using more flowers here beneath the photos. I mixed and matched some of those small fussy cut flowers with part of a Layered Sticker and a Floral Die Cut. I popped these all up with adhesive foam to create dimension.
I hope this inspires you in some way today! It was fun to start with a colorful & busy patterned paper and let it help me decide the rest of the page. This is a great way to use a busy paper and make it seem less overwhelming. Sometimes I struggle with that and by using a background cut file with it I was able to make it work for me and my style. Give it a try on your next project! Thanks so much for stopping by!
