Hello crafty friends! Amber Mitchell here on Paige's blog today to share with you a fun project I created using the Wonders collection, chipboard, and wire binding.
This type of mini album is quick and easy to make so it's great for crafters of all skill levels!
To create the pages for this book, I used Paper 12 from the collection which has 8 double-sided patterned tags on it. I cut these tags out and machine stitched along the edges of each one to add texture.
To create the covers of this mini album, I used medium weight chipboard. The front cover measures 3 x 3.25 inches and the back cover measures 3.25 x 5.5 inches. I wrapped these pieces using papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and lined them using scrap papers from previous projects.
To bind this album together I used wire binding and the Mini Cinch Tool from We R Memory Keepers.
To embellish I used a mix of bits and pieces from the Wonders collection. My stash for this collection is running low, so fussy cutting butterflies from Paper 8 helped to fill in any empty spots throughout the album.
I love a good chunky album, so using some of the Chipboard Stickers throughout to add dimension was a must!
A few flowers from the Floral Die Cuts, some journaling spots and tags from the Ephemera Die Cuts, some sentiments from the 8-Page Sticker Book, and Banner Stickers were perfect for adding flair and tuck spots throughout the album.
The last touch, of course, was a mix of paper tassels, along with a bauble charm and one of the Flower Charms from the Bloom Street collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by my post today! I'll see you next time with another fun project!
