The 15th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Hot Off the Grill Cut File!
For my page today I cut the Hot Off the Grill Cut File from white cardstock and backed it with papers from the Saturday Afternoon collection by 1canoe2 as well as the Indigo & Ivy collection by Pink Paislee. I tore a piece of green patterned paper for "grass", zigzag stitched all across it with green thread, and placed it at the bottom of a blue paper. After attaching the cut file with foam squares for dimension, I tucked three photos of Fox eating at restaurants into the top. I filled in the "sky" with clouds punched from white cardstock.Design Team Member Lisa Fonseca created this too-cute-for-words layout! She says, "Although these are 'boy' cut files, you can always use them to create girly layouts too! For this page I used the Bungalow Lane collection and went all in with all the colors. I took the cut file apart because it was easier to design and I used flowers in three spots to create a visual triangle. For my background I used a light blue cardstock and did a bit of mixed media with gesso and a baby wipe. I know buttons have nothing to do with summer and grilling, but... who cares, they look cute! I put them all around the cut file and photos to spread pops of color!"
We're halfway through! 15 more days of Boy Cut Files to go!
