The 16th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are three layouts created with today's Quilt Background Cut File!
For my page today I cut the Quilt Background Cut File from white cardstock and then backed it with papers from the Storyteller collection by Vicki Boutin. Instead of creating the backing pieces in Silhouette like I usually do, I simply used a 1" square punch and trimmed the squares in half diagonally - these pieces were the perfect size to back every triangle! I created a photo cluster in the center and embellished with all kinds of fun bits and pieces from Storyteller.
Design Team Member Noelle Culp created two amazing layouts with the Quilt Background Cut File! For this first layout she says, "I was inspired to use the rainbow triangle paper from Truly Grateful. I love the pinwheel pattern so I created the background to be a pinwheel quilt. I then sewed around the cut file with white thread to look just like a quilt. I made multiple pinwheels in different colors using papers from Truly Grateful and arranged them across the bottom. I then added a few embellishments and a title!"
For the second layout Noelle continues, "I loved the Quilt Background Cut File so much that I was inspired to create another page! For this page I used Bungalow Lane Paper 18 and Paper 19 to create the background. I then created the flowers using the Layered Flowers and Leaves Cut File. I used various papers from Paige's previous collections to make the flowers and used cardstock for the leaves. I tucked a little tag from Paper 22 behind the photo and added a title. I love how this page looks so soft but also matched my beach photo!"
