Boy Cut File 22 of 30: Sound Bars

Friday, April 22, 2022

The 22nd of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Sound Bars Cut File!

For this page I cut the Sound Bars Cut File from white cardstock and used spray adhesive to attach them onto a black cardstock background. I splattered white acrylic paintgold paintPastel Dreams and Tropicals watercolors all across the background and let it dry. I added two photos of Fox composing his own music on opposite corners of the layout and used colorful Thickers from my stash for the title. Next I trimmed the background to 11" square and then matted it with a rainbow sunburst paper from Horizon. To finish, I added a rainbow of enamel dots all across the background and wrote journaling at the bottom with a white pen.

Design Team Member Valerie Bisson created this adorable layout! She says, "For my page I used pieces from Go the Scenic RouteHorizon, and my stash. First I cut out the Sound Bars from white cardstock and a second time from gray cardstock to layer and give it a shadow. After adhering the cut files to the page I added paint splatters in pink, gray, and black. Next I made two clusters on the page in opposite corners creating a diagonal design. The top cluster includes photos, stickers, washi tape, and a subtitle, and the bottom cluster has the title, a photo, some stickers, and die cuts all layered up in an eye catching way - all on top of this cute pink cloud paper! A few enamel dots sprinkled with each of the clusters finished the page."
