The 27th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Tire Tracks Cut File!
For my page today I cut the Tire Tracks Cut File from white cardstock as well as from dark gray cardstock. I used spray adhesive to attached the white tire tracks onto a gray patterned paper from my very first collection called Fancy Free which actually reminds me of tire tracks! I then covered the background with white gesso which with the cut files underneath created a really cool texture. I added Pastel Dreams watercolors, splattered white acrylic paint, and black watercolors from the Vintage Pastels set on top. Once dry, I machine stitched with matching colors of thread through the background. Then I added the dark gray tire tracks at the bottom. To finish I added photos and embellishments from Fancy Free on the upper section!Design Team Member Jennifer Rambert created this wonderful mixed media layout! She says, "For this page I used the Tire Tracks Cut File and the Wonders collection. To begin, I cut the design from white cardstock to use as a stencil. I coated another piece of white cardstock with clear gesso and then made a large area in the center of the page and two smaller ones at the top and bottom of the page with blue ink. On top of that I added the stencils and scraped modeling paste through. I added Thickers, Cardstock Stickers, pieces from the 8-Page Sticker Book, Ephemera Die Cuts, and more, all from the Wonders collection. I hope this page has inspired you in some way today!"
