Boy Cut File 5 of 30: Pennant Banners

The 5th of the 30 Days of Boy Cut Files went out to those who purchased them and here are two layouts created with today's Pennant Banners Cut File!

For this layout I used my new Splendid collection! I was inspired to choose Paper 16 for the background since the triangles reminded me of the pennants and used only colors found in the paper to back the Pennant Banners Cut File. I smudged the busy background with gesso to fade it out a bit which helps the cut file pop. I trimmed two photos of Fox into triangle pennants and added them to the mix along with all kinds of fun embellishments in the same color palette found in Splendid!

Design Team Member Yui Oku created this sweet layout! She says, "This banner is big so I put one photo of each birthday month for my son's first 7 months! I decided to use a different collection for each banner. The background paper and month "0" are from Take Me Away. "1" is Oh My Heart, "2" is Turn the Page, (the "2" sticker is from Bloom Street), "3" and the white Mini Foam Thickers on the banners are Pick-Me-Up, "4" is Whimsical, "5" is Horizon, "6" is Truly Grateful, "7" is Wonders, and "8" is Bungalow Lane! How fun! It becomes like a mini album! I love all of Paige's collections and can't wait for Splendid!"
