Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today with here on Paige's blog today to share with you the layout I created for my challenge for International Scrapbook Day in Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group!
The challenge I chose was a LARGE PHOTO! I started by cutting the Explore Cut File from white cardstock to fit right across my page and backed it with papers from Bungalow Lane and Wonders. I also added words just using a system font for the “Banff Canada”. To balance the colors in the cut file I added more of the same papers to the top edge of the page adding a nice scallop detail. Since the large photo is the main focus only a few pieces of embellishments from Go the Scenic Route were needed. Finishing touches for me are almost always enamel dots and paint splatters even on top of this large photo, it makes it feel complete!
Thanks for checking out my iNSD project! Be sure to visit Paige's Happy Scrappy Place Facebook Group for more fun challenges and projects!
SUPPLIES: Patterned papers, stickers, die cuts, embellishments: BUNGALOW LANE, WONDERS, and GO THE SCENIC ROUTE; Cut file: Explore by Paige Evans; white cardstock
This is absolutely stunning! I am feeling so inspired by your heavenly textured layout ! I picked up some 12 x 12 print credits from Persnickety prints during the iNSD sale. My plan is to use them after our trip to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks this summer! Thank you so very much for sharing- i'm seriously running to your social now!
