Hi friends! Ashley Neu back for another Paige’s Cut File Design Team project. Today I am sharing a layout that I created using Paige’s Splendid collection. I am also using Paige’s Presents Wreath Cut File! My layout is of my daughter on her 5th birthday.
I wanted to create a rainbow wreath so I grabbed Paper 6, Paper 13, and Paper 19 to back the cut file which was cut from white cardstock. I love all of the textures and patterns that are mixed in each present! Next, I worked on the background paper. I took another piece of white cardstock and marked approximately where each color of the wreath began and ended on the background paper. I grabbed watercolors and smooshed the appropriate colors onto the background. I also added white acrylic paint splatters.
Finally, I created my title using the ‘Smile’ piece from the Epoxy Stickers and some Thickers from my stash. I added tone-on-tone embellishing using the Cardstock Stickers, Chipboard Stickers, and 8-Page Sticker Book. I tucked these pieces in and around the wreath and also added some of the enamel dots from the Sequins & Enamel Shapes onto some of the presents.
I hope you enjoyed reading the process of creating this layout! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
