Here is another layout I made with leftover kits supplies from my "snack & scrap" mini class at the Crop & Create Delivered Papercrafting Event in April!
HAPPINESS BLOOMS FROM WITHIN by Paige Evans
SUPPLIES: Horizon: Paper 01, 02, 03, 08, and 12, Cardstock Stickers, Ephemera Die Cuts, Floral Die Cuts, white cardstock; paper trimmer; fine-tipped scissors; blue journaling pen; adhesives (liquid, foam); sewing machine; white thread; 12” ruler; pencilINSTRUCTIONS:
1. Trim off the barcode strips from all (5) Horizon papers as well as a ½” strip from the yellow floral B-side Paper 01.
2. On a white cardstock background, use a ruler and pencil to mark on all four edges at 3”, 6”, and 9”.
3. Glue just the tops of the three vertical strips in place. Paper weave the three horizontal strips in place then glue all the strips.
4. Machine stitch over all the paper strips then bend up the edges for texture/dimension.
5. Trim flower die cuts in half and adhere them in the grid sections/edges.
6. Adhere (5) 2” square photos in the grid.
7. Embellish with additional stickers, a journaling spot trimmed down from a cut-apart paper, and phrases/sentiments cut out from cut-apart cards as shown.
