Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today with a new layout featuring Paige's Stars Garland and Chandelier cut files paired with Splendid collection!
I wanted to scrapbook photos of my daughter trying on dresses for her graduation and there was a chandelier in the dress shop which guided my decision on which cut files to use. The Chandelier and the Stars Garland cut files were just perfect for my page. I cut them from white cardstock, backed the stars with gold glitter paper, and lightly tinted the chandelier in tattered rose Distress Oxide Ink. Then I added the cut files to the top of Paper 11. For a fun idea I created the page to look like the dress shop with the photos displayed and cut to look like the mirrors. For extra emphasis I hand stitched a chain link stitch around the photos. Embellishing included Epoxy Stickers, Floral Die Cuts, Heart Paper Clips, Enamel Shapes, and Thickers, all from Splendid, and a few pieces from Wonders such as washi tape, a chipboard frame, and a puffy heart. To complete the page I dated it using the Roller Stamp and added white and gold paint splatters.
Have a wonderful crafty day!
