The 2nd of the 24 Days of Summer Cut Files was just sent out and here are 2 layouts made with today's Lemonade Cut File!

Design Team Member Phil Donahue created this fantastic layout! He says, "My project with today's Lemonade Cut File features a Fourth of July picture from a few years back of my friends enjoying some adult beverages on a boat! For this layout, I mostly used the Splendid 12x12 Paper Pad for my background and the 2x2 Paper Pads for embellishments. Paper 9 was the inspiration for the color scheme of this layout using it as the main border and pulling colors from it to make distressed concentric squares reflecting the square of the photo. Keeping with the square theme, I found a couple phrases from the 2x2 Paper Pad which fit the colors and theme perfectly. Next I found all the citrus I could from the 8-Page Sticker Book and Chipboard Stickers. For the Lemonade Cut File, I backed the bulk of it with a yellow patterned paper from Paige's Pick-Me-Up collection along with vellum to represent the glass. I decided to use pops of pink, orange, and green making the lemons all types of citrus fruits to create an even more colorful, summer-y page! I used Thickers for my title and lastly, I used pink enamel dots and white acrylic paint splatters to bring this Summer page all together! Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!"

Design Team Member Valerie Bisson created this fun layout! She says, "I love this Lemonade Cut File! It was just perfect for my photos of the kids and their lemonade stand. I started by cutting the Lemonade Cut File three times, once from Splendid Paper 5Paper 1 from Wonders, and also some vellum so I could create the look of a frosted pitcher and glass. I used a couple of green patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad for backing the leaves and more of Wonders Paper 1 to back the lemons. I left just enough room at the top of my page to add photos which I also matted. Then everything went on top of the pink gingham Paper 12. I used Thickers for my title then embellished with Ephemera Die Cuts, the 8-Page Sticker BookEpoxy StickersHeart Paper ClipRoller Stamp for the date, and some fussy cut lemons and leaf sprigs from Paper 9. Lastly I added a few enamel dots from my stash to complete the page. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!"
