Summer Cut File 6 of 24: Station Wagon

The 6th of the 24 Days of Summer Cut Files was just sent out and here is a layout made with today's Station Wagon Cut File!

Design Team Member Audrey Mutschall created this too cute for words layout! She says, "This Station Wagon is such an adorable cut file and I was so excited to document photos from a road trip to my parents’ cabin with it. I used white cardstock for the cut file and backed it with patterned papers from the Splendid 12x12 Paper Pad. I wanted to create a mountain scene so I used gray cardstock for a road in the foreground, Paper 10 for grass, and four solid colors of cardstock (blue, lilac, turquoise, and purple) to create layered mountains. I arranged all of these layers onto pale lavender cardstock, added a row of back-stitching along the borders of the grass, and hand-cut & stitched puffy clouds in the sky. With the background complete, I added the Station Wagon to the scene, using foam tape to keep it in place and give it dimension. I printed three photos from a road trip to the mountains, arranged them vertically onto a strip of Paper 4, and added them to the right side of the page. Lastly, I added a title using Thickers and embellished with fussy cut flowers from Paper 1, a butterfly from the 6x8 Paper Pad, little bees from Paper 20, and Epoxy Stickers. I hope this inspires you to create a layout with Paige’s adorable Station Wagon Cut File; it’s absolutely perfect for documenting those summer road trips!"
