Hi everyone! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige's cut files, specifically her Baseball Cut File. I was so excited when I saw this cut file that I couldn’t wait to make a layout with it. My son recently became the batboy for our local baseball team, the Lethbridge Bulls, and he’s made so many happy memories with his teammates this summer. Paige’s Baseball Cut File was absolutely perfect for documenting a few of these precious moments.
I started by cutting out the Baseball Cut File from white cardstock. I backed the word “baseball” using red striped paper from the Truly Grateful collection, and blue and yellow patterned papers from the Pick-Me-Up collection. The baseball is backed using yellow patterned paper from the Oh My Heart digital collection, which I faded a bit using white gesso. I used scraps from my stash for both the baseball glove and bat. I arranged all of the pieces onto a woodgrain patterned paper, added my photos and white acrylic paint splatters, and then got to work embellishing. I’ve used a puffy sticker from Go the Scenic Route, a cardstock sticker from Wonders, and some printed digital elements from the Turn the Page collection.
I hope this inspires you to use this adorable Baseball Cut File for the baseball slugger in your life!
