Hi friends! Ashley Neu here for the Paige Evans Cut File Design Team! Today, I am sharing a layout I created with Paige’s Splendid collection and her Half Flower Cut File. I am documenting a photo of our middle daughter and her dad at a wedding!
After cutting the Half Flower Cut File out from white cardstock, I grabbed the Washi Tape and created a design on each of the negative pieces from the cut file. In each new layer and row of the flower, I omitted the top washi tape I had previously used to give a fun look to the flower. I adhered the flower onto Paper 12 using foam adhesive and added the washi tape pieces flat to the background. Next, I grabbed Paper 10, Paper 19, and Paper 24 and tore a piece of each of them to add to the bottom of the layout - this is meant to look like layered grass just in front of the flower. Adding my photo came next and I did that by tucking it into the grass layers. I grabbed the Floral Die Cuts and tucked them inside of those grass layers, some next to my photo, and as well as a cluster at the top of the Half Flower Cut File. The last thing I did was add my title just under my photo which came from the Epoxy Stickers as well as a phrase sticker from the 8-Page Sticker Book.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the process of putting this layout together. Creating the washi tape flower was super easy and a fun technique to try with other cut files! I hope you give it a try! Have a wonderful day and see you next time!
