Hi everyone! Audrey Mutschall here with a new layout featuring Paige's Splendid collection and her Hanging Basket Cut File! I had some cute photos of my daughter sampling our homegrown strawberries, so I turned Paige’s design into a strawberry basket by adding fussy cut flowers and strawberries from Splendid.
I started by cutting the Hanging Basket Cut File from white cardstock and backing the basket portion with yellow Paper 21 and green Paper 7. I left all of the flowers and leaves on the cut file unbacked, because I knew I was going to add my own greenery, flowers, and strawberries on top. I used foam tape to adhere the cut file to a woodgrain paper and then got to work fussy cutting flowers from Paper 18 and strawberries from Paper 9 to layer on top. I cut green leaves from Paper 19 using two different leaf designs from Paige’s Layered Flower and Leaf Cut Files (Design ID 288406 and 311423). With the basket complete I added a torn piece of white cardstock to the right side of the page and hand stitched a brick pattern onto this paper using white and gray embroidery floss. I added a strip of three photos between the basket and the brick pattern and an oval sign/title using one of the cut-apart sections from Paper 24. Lastly, I embellished around my photos with a Heart Paper Clip, a sticker from the 8-Page Sticker Book, and an Epoxy Sticker.
I hope this inspires you to create something using Paige’s Hanging Basket Cut File - it’s so versatile and can be made into any type of plant that you desire!
