Hi friends! Jackie Ashton here with a new layout using the Paige's Awesome Cut File and Splendid collection. I love this cut file and it made an ideal title to use on my layout.
I started by cutting the Awesome Cut File from white cardstock and reducing the size to approximately 6x3"and backed it with vellum, adding 3D foam tape around the edges of the cut file. My photograph is 3x4” which is matted with papers from the Splendid 6x8 Paper Pad and I also distressed the edges to add extra texture. Using white cardstock as my background, I added a 6" piece of green paper from the 12x12 Paper Pad to the top of the page, adding some machine stitching around the edges and distressed the edges to add more texture. To embellish the page, I started with the cut apart tag sheet from the 12x12 pad, but I wanted to use 3 tags with similar color tones, so I had to make one of my own. The tag on the left (the full patterned one) is cut from the 6x8 Paper Pad – I traced around one of the tags, cut it out, and then cut the tag top from another tag and glued it in place. I finished the page with Chipboard Stickers, Epoxy Stickers, and Cardstock Stickers, all from the Splendid collection.
