Hi friends! Valerie Bisson here today with a new layout featuring Paige's Splendid collection and Class of 2022 Cut File with a class photo from my daughter’s high school graduation. If you spotted the random little star in the middle of the photo, that’s there for a place holder so years down the road when we’re looking at the photo we can easily spot her.
For something a little different I went ahead and used Paper 13 for the Class of 2022 Cut File (cut at 10.5” wide) instead of the usual white cardstock. This same black & white floral paper also made a nice mat for my layout. For backing the cut file I used Paper 5 and some patterned papers from my stash. Next I decided to stitch the whole cut file using a backstitch with DMC thread. Something about stitching on a page makes it feel extra special. Next I used modeling paste through Paige’s Star Confetti Stencil (since it's sold out, you can find the same design in a cut file: Star Confetti Cut File) in opposite corners on the page creating a diagonal flow. To this I also added some punched out stars from Paper 21. Then I popped up the cut file and added my 5x10” photo to the background. Lastly I added a bit of embellishment with pieces from the Epoxy Stickers, Thickers, and the heart in the middle from the Cardstock Stickers.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope I’ve inspired you to get creative with Paige's cut files!
