Hi crafty friends! Lisa Fonseca here today sharing a new layout I created with an older collection by Paige that I really love, Bloom Street, and her Jewel Heart Cut File.
I used the Jewel Heart Cut File and cut the backing pieces out of different patterned papers. I wanted to include all of the colors. I adhered the pieces to the background and then stitched some details like stripes and french knots on top of a few pieces. I placed the actual cut file on top of everything, using adhesive foam to make it stand out and create shadows underneath. Then I added my photo and created three flower clusters that I also stitched to the heart. I used some fussy cut flowers and leaves, beads in different sizes, and flower charms from Bloom Street.
I hope you are inspired to create some colorful layouts using Paige's collections and cut files!
