At our Splendid Weekend back in July we hosted a MemoryDex card swap and it was AMA-ZA-ZING! So we decided to do another one for our Garden Shoppe Weekend coming up in November! Find all the details HERE.
These are the trays of MemoryDex cards for the swap from our Splendid Weekend. Such eye candy! Everyone got to take one home!
When I cut out the bases for the MemoryDex Trays for our upcoming Garden Shoppe Weekend, I also added 6 sizes of hearts (using my Layered Heart Cut File) onto the design in empty spaces so almost the entire 12x12 paper was filled with pieces to be cut out.
To make my cards, I layered all 6 sizes of hearts together, added a sentiment on top, stitched down the center, then glued them onto a heart-shaped MemoryDex card cut from thick white cardstock.
For texture and dimension I fluffed up all the layers - love those shadows and being able to see both sides of the patterned papers!
I've got 45 cards ready to go, made in a jiffy assembly line style! I sure do love my Silhouette Cameo without which this could have taken much longer :)
Let me know if you have any questions, hope to see you at our Garden Shoppe Weekend!!
