October 2021 Mini Album by Paige Evans

Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love documenting all of our spooktacular traditions in a 4x4 mini album, known affectionately as an October Occasionally, because I don't document something every day, just our Halloween-themed activities which happen occasionally throughout the month of October :)

I have been making these October mini albums since 2012 and you can find my previous albums with video flip throughs here: 2012 // 2013 // 2014 // 2015 // 2016 // 2017 // 2018 // 2019 // 2020 // 2021

Here is a video of me walking and talking through this album so you can see it "live":

I saved the process for making this album in an Instagram Highlight.

The album is 4x4 in size with a woodgrain outside and gold polka dot inside - it's from Becky Higgins many years ago. More companies need to make these again :) I currently have 8 styles of 4x4 mini albums available in a collaboration with WeR Memory Keepers which you can find at scrapbook.com

I have the supplies already to teach how to make a 4x4 Halloween-themed mini album class next year so stay tuned, I'll release the details next summer :)
The cute skeleton witch charm is from JoAnn and the beaded charm is from Emily Inspired Designs.
Throughout this album I've added several cut files from my 20 Halloween Cut Files 2021.
To attach the charms to the album I tied ribbons around the spine and then clipped the charm into the knot.
The supplies throughout this album are a mishmash of probably two dozen collections (if not more!). I've been gathering Halloween goodies since I can remember and always add a new line or two (or three!) come October. This year I added the Die Cuts with a View paper pads and two bewitchingly cute collections from Miss Kate Cuttables.
Previously I've added washi tape to the edges of the page protectors but this year I decided to add patterned paper! I designed a Tab Cut File and cut out many tabs from all the patterned papers I've hoarded :) I adhered them back-to-back on the page protector edges and machine stitched around them for texture and to secure them in place permanently.
In between a few of the pictures I added tags that I made from striped papers.
If you have any questions about anything specific, please leave a comment and I'll get right back to you! Otherwise, enjoy all of the photos of the pages, flip ups, tags, and inserts!
Wood veneer spiderweb border is from Shadnee!
I love including the kids' artwork.
I've started working on my 2022 album already and can't wait to share it here!
