Autumn Cut File 2 of 20: Leaves

The 2nd of the 20 Days of Autumn Cut Files is Leaves and was just emailed out and the file uploaded to the secret folder!

For this layout I made, I started by die cutting the Leaves from an entire piece of Paper 19 from Garden Shoppe. I adhered a 4" square photo onto the right side of a sheet of pink cardstock and then arranged all the leaves coming out from behind, under, and overlapping the photo. I adhered the leaves and flowers with just a dab of liquid glue so the edges could lift and bend to create beautiful texture/dimension. To embellish I added a trio of Butterfly Stickers and created a cluster on the top right corner of the photo with a Foam Phrase Sticker, Enamel Button Stickers, and stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book. To finish, I splashed white acrylic paint on top as a final layer to tie everything together (I covered the photo with scrap paper first to make sure paint wouldn't get on the pic). This layout came together super quickly!

Design Team Member Lisa Fonseca created this adorable layout! She says, "For this layout of course I used the pretty new Garden Shoppe collection and different than usual, I cut out the Leaves from patterned papers instead of white cardstock. I then backed them using patterned papers to have many patterns and colors. To have something to place the leaves around, I created a cute little paper pieced fox. I adhered the fox using foam squares onto a white cardstock background, placed the matted photos next to it, and then used all the Leaves to decorate. I had some white leaf branches left from a previous project and I used those too. For my title I used Thickers and stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book. I added some Cardstock Stickers, leaves and copper foil hearts from the Foam Phrase Stickers, and two Butterfly Stickers. To finish, I drew small black leaves in some spots and splattered gold ink!"

Design Team Member Jackie Ashton created this amazing layout! She says, "I used the lovely Garden Shoppe collection for this page. On a white cardstock background I added some stencil details to the center. I matted my photo using patterned papers from the 6x8 Paper Pad and cut the leaves from several papers in the 12x12 Paper Pad, backed a few of them, and added them around my photograph. I added wood veneer leaves from my stash tucked into the mix. For my title I used Thickers and added a few stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book.
