Hello scrappy friends! Phil Donahue here back on the blog with a colorful layout to brighten up your wintery day! For this layout, I used Paige's whimsical Hearts Border Cut File along with elements from her Garden Shoppe, Splendid, and Wonders collections to document three 4x6" photos of my niece and her dad walking during a beautiful summer day last year.
To begin, I cut the Hearts Border from white cardstock. I backed each heart with pink, blue, green, yellow, and orange patterned papers from the Splendid 12x12 Paper Pad and adhered the cut file using adhesive foam on the left side of a blue, cloudy background from the Wonders collection. Next I used foam adhesive to adhere a three-inch strip of the rainbow stripe side of Paper 3. The stripes and rainbow of colors beautifully reflected the pattern of my niece's dress she wore in the pictures. I glued the series of photos above these elements then embellished them with Foam Phrase Stickers from Garden Shoppe and florals from Wonders. Final touches were tone-on-tone chipboard butterflies from my stash to accent each colorful heart, pink enamel dots, and splatters of white acrylic paint around areas of embellishment to bring the whole page together.
I hope you found some inspiration in this colorful layout! Thank you for stopping by and happy scrapping!
