Hi friends! Audrey Mutschall here with a new spring-themed layout featuring Paige’s Umbrella Floral Cut File! This is another cut file that I’ve admired for a long time because I’ve seen so many beautiful layouts made with it. I was excited to create my own version using the lovely Garden Shoppe collection!
I started by cutting the Umbrella Floral Cut File from white cardstock and backed it with a variety of patterned papers from the 12x12 Paper Pad. With the backing complete, I got to work fussy cutting flowers from Paper 2 and Paper 7. I doubled them up to create layered flowers and placed them along the bottom of the umbrella. I added a few Floral Die Cuts to make a really full cluster along the edge of the umbrella. A Butterfly Sticker adds the perfect touch above the flowers. I used another sheet of white cardstock for my background and cut a title from the bottom left section of the page. I backed the title with blue Paper 19. Next, I created “raindrops” by poking holes in vertical lines across the top section of the background and used light blue embroidery floss to sew a running stitch through the holes. I used Paige’s Scalloped Borders Cut File to make a border across the top of the page with Paper 19, which helps bring everything together. My photo is mounted on Paper 3 and I created a subtitle with a Foam Phrase Sticker and some of the small alphabet stickers from the 8-Page Sticker Book.
This was such a fun layout to create! I love how it showcases the beautiful flowers from the Garden Shoppe collection. I just can’t get enough of them!!
